  1. Extend the boardwalk from its present location to the upper end of Dry Run Creek

  2. Construct or buy tables or benches and place at various locations along boardwalk for parent seating while kids are fishing

  3. Be an advocate for the hatchery

  4. Provide a Field Day for Congressional Staffers. Invite the local staffs to the hatchery for a guided tour of the hatchery, cook out, and informal questionsand answer session.

  1. Develop and print brochures for the Friends Group.

  2. Provide vending Machines for fish food and a soft drink machine.

  3. Assist the hatchery with the fishing derby each year. (Measure fish, assist with registration, solicit donations and prizes, cook hot dogs, and serve meals, etc.).

  4. Provide a public Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the hatchery.
